Clinical Depression can and will touch almost every element of your day to day life.  The illness can affect your thought pattern and leave you confused.  Your mood and the way that you behave are also at the will of this unforgiving illness.  Your life might go topsy-turvey thanks to eating and sleeping problems.  Where you once may have been able to do your work or study for school without any hesitation you may quickly lose the ability to do so.  Clinical Depression will specifically affect your ability to deal with those around you.  You'll become a stranger even to yourself. 

Unlike laziness, Clinical Depression is not a character fault.  It is not an illness that you can wish gone out of your life.  There are no quick fixes like the power of positive thinking.  Medical treatment that persists for weeks or even years is required.  If not treated it can lead individuals to attempt suicide. The reasons for the depression may seem known to you.  However many different factors might contribute to this illness.  Generally Clinical Depression is caused by multiple factors.  It can be psychological, perhaps genetic and even associated with the environment in which you live. 

Biological issues such as chemical imbalances can lead to Clinical Depression.  Stress might also cause this illness.  Rather you are under stress at school or work it can have an alarming affect on your body and psychological condition .  Worries like managing a family budget can be disastrous.  It's well known that alcoholics and drug addicts often contract Clinical Depression. Don't hesitate to consult a medical professional if you or anyone you know shows signs of this disease.
